About Us

CWJC Kerr County began in 1999 with the first class graduating

in the Spring of 2000.  The Kerrville CWJC is one of over 310

sites in the US with 80+ sites in Texas.  In the 14 years of

operation, we have graduated 321 women and hold an 85%

employment rate.  Many of our graduates also pursue continued

education in order to obtain their employment goals.  The

CWJC interns work in a variety of fields including law offices,

doctor offices, real estate offices, area non-profits, James Avery's,

MG Builders, Lowes, local banks, and many other businesses.

2000-2013 Statistics:

We have an active Alumnae Program.  Our Alumnae Center is a

peaceful area where our graduates can receive prayer,

encouragement, job searches, support, and participate in on-

going Bible Study.  Our Alumnae also actively "give back" to

our community with a variety of activities.  Our Alumnae

e-newsletter, Corps Connections, helps graduates stay informed.

The ministry of CWJC makes a significant difference in the lives

of women and Kerr County families.  In our years of existence, we

have seen God work in many ways:

Christian Women's Job Corps depends on the wonderful volunteers

of our community.  The volunteers are our teachers, mentors,

lunch providers, prayer warriors, encouragers, community resources,

and our mock interviewers.  People from various businesses, organizations, and more than 30 churches throughout the Hill Country have participated in the success of our program. Only God can change hearts and lives.  The miracles that He performs in the women of CWJC go far beyond the job market.

CWJC strives to minister to whole families.
